John, this month, I took a trip over to Pennsylvania to see my great friend Josh Shapiro, who you might know as the Democratic nominee for governor. In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to split an urgent contribution between our campaigns, but first let me quickly fill you in on the state of this race.

Josh’s race is arguably the most important governor’s race in our nation, and here’s why:

- His opponent, Doug Mastriano, is a MAGA extremist who not only routinely touts Donald Trump’s election conspiracies, but was also at the U.S. Capitol during the violent January 6th riots.

- The threats don’t end at our democracy either, John. While Josh is a champion for voting rights, reproductive rights, and LGBTQ+ rights, his opponent has suggested trashing the state’s entire voter registration system, restricting abortion access for millions of women, and making gay marriage illegal.

Josh has fought for truth, justice, and accountability for years as Attorney General, and I know he’ll continue to make progress for the people and uphold our shared values as Pennsylvania’s next governor. We absolutely cannot afford to let someone as extreme and dangerous as Doug Mastriano win, so that’s why I’m humbly asking:

Can you split a contribution between Josh’s campaign and mine so that we can continue fighting to protect our democracy at every level of the ballot?
