The race for Secretary of State should be about protecting democracy by fighting for expanded voting rights and access to the ballot box.
But that has changed with the emergence of candidates like Jim Marchant: conspiracy theorists all around the country, running for Secretary of State with the intention of breaking apart America’s election systems. Just look at his track record:
→ Marchant has cozied up to Donald Trump and QAnon, even speaking at one of their conferences
→ He believes that Nevada hasn’t had legitimate elections since 2006.
→ And he’s even said he wants to overhaul our entire election system by banning electronic voting machines, mail voting, and early voting.
We cannot allow this ultra-MAGA radical to win, especially not in a key battleground state like Nevada. Democracy depends on it.
