This week, our first TV ad officially went live and is being played on the air across the Lowcountry. Ads are a critical tool to spread our message to the voters and since we only have seven weeks until Election Day, this is go-time.
And now a video has surfaced of Nancy Mace claiming: "Roe V Wade is extreme. That is not where the rest of the country is. This hysteria over Roe V Wade is completely manufactured." Clearly, the Lowcountry's representative is out of sync with the real feelings of the Lowcountry.
That’s why my team is already planning for our next invoices from the stations to cover our ad buy fully so we can beat Mace. $87,000 is our total goal. Will you stand with us and donate $15 before end-of-day Friday?
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process now. |
Our first TV ad is on a subject really important to me, as a pediatrician who has seen too many kids with bullet wounds. “Eraser” highlights the fact that bullets erase our kids and impact every community.
Gun violence is the #1 killer of our kids. But our representative, Nancy Mace, won’t do anything about it. In fact, she’s branded herself as the “second-amendment girl” who will put guns above our safety every single time. She even lists the guns she owns in her campaign literature.
With her A-grade from the National Rifle Association (NRA), we can’t expect Mace to stand up for our kids. Now, we need a change in leadership.
If you’re with me, help my team spread our new ad to as many voters as possible in the weeks ahead and get our other ones on the air.
