Jack, sign the petition: Shame on Republicans for introducing a national abortion ban.

There have been 30 school shootings in the United States in 2022 alone. Far too many working families still have to choose between putting groceries on the table or accessing health care. Babies are at risk of losing their mothers thanks to our country’s unconscionably highly maternal mortality rate, the highest among other wealthy nations.

To make matters worse, inflexibility at work and rising costs around child care leave families in a tight spot. Proposals to adopt universal Pre-K and increase school funding continue to be stymied in Congress. And we are still the only industrialized nation in the entire world without guaranteed paid family leave.

Instead of addressing these essential issues that deeply impact children and families each and every day, U.S. Senate and House Republicans chose to introduce a national abortion ban.

Sign the petition: Introducing this ban on the heels of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe is unbearably cruel. Shame on Republicans.

“Leaving it up to the states” was never going to be enough for the anti-abortion fanatics infesting Congress. Even more concerning, Lindsey Graham says that a Republican majority in Congress would pass a national abortion ban.

Republicans may be divided on the timing of the Senate and House bills to ban abortion nationwide at 15 weeks, but their end goal has always been the same: exert complete and total control over anyone with the ability to get pregnant.

Sign the petition to Republicans in Congress: Your incessant focus on abortion is loathsome. You should be ashamed of yourself.
