    Do you want to connect with other on-site staff serving affordable housing residents in the Bay Area? Do you want to hear about other programs? Join our peer sharing call to share opportunities, challenges, and more!
     
  • The fifth cohort of NPH’s Community Advocacy & Voter Engagement (CAVE) Certification Program begins next month on October 20 and continues through November 18! Through CAVE, participants will gain strategies for how to create a culture and practice of advocacy within their affordable housing community, empowering residents to participate in elections and policy outcomes that directly impact their lives.

The Race to Lead Survey from the Building Movement Project is back! This survey is extremely valuable to the nonprofit sector as it helps to gather important information on the intersection of race, leadership, and nonprofit culture. Please contribute to this important cause for the nonprofit sector by taking the survey today!

This year, the survey addresses some of the major social issues of the past few years, including COVID-19, the racial uprisings of summer 2020, and shifts in the political landscape. The survey is live and collecting data from thousands of people working for nonprofit organizations across the United States, so please add your voice!

 

Welcome Ze-Kun Li to NPH!

Join us in welcoming our newest staff member: Senior Campaign Manager, Ze-Kun Li! Ze (he/him) will lead the NPH regional ballot measure effort for affordable housing. Prior to joining NPH, Ze was the Director of Campaign Operations for CliffordMoss, a leading California election planning, political strategy, public affairs and strategic communications firm in Oakland. 

Ze graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in political science. He was born in China and moved to the Bay Area at age 9. He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently.

This person will be responsible for overseeing NPH’s public information efforts to advance narrative, cultural, storytelling, and engagement strategy to advance housing and racial justice in the San Francisco Bay Area.
