Leora Levy, “Why are Woke Radicals Attacking the Nuclear Family?”
GREENWICH, CT – Recently, it was reported the Connecticut Department of Public Health adopted woke terms for childbirth paperwork, choosing to replace the words ‘mother’ and ‘father’ with ‘birth parent’ and ‘non-birth parent’.
Political outsider Leora Levy issued a statement condemning woke government bureaucrats, saying:
“Connecticut liberals and government bureaucrats are trying to destroy the American nuclear family. This is Cultural Marxism; it is a stated goal of the Marxist movement. It continues to erase the progress women have accomplished and is an attempt to push a radical, out-of-touch agenda on us, erasing the importance of mothers and fathers.
“Americans are sick of this politically correct nonsense. The fact of the matter is, if you give birth to a child, you are a mother – not a ‘birthing parent.’ Mothers and fathers matter! Family matters! The nuclear family is the bedrock, the foundation upon which American culture and society are built. It is the reason for our success and exceptionalism as a nation. This woke nonsense is what we get from the party of Biden, Blumenthal and out-of-touch progressives. It is time to restore common sense.”
