John, Michelle Steel is hiding from the public.
Despite repeated requests from local community organizers to attend forums and debates alongside her opponent Jay Chen, Steel and her staff have been radio silent.
So far, she has ignored at least four requests from seniors, students, homeowners, and women to attend a public candidate forum to elaborate on her first term in Congress.
Truth be told, we are not shocked. Michelle Steel has never participated in a debate while running for Congress, and she has neglected to hold even one in-person town hall during her two years in office.
This is completely unacceptable from a public servant seeking reelection. Voters deserve an explanation as to why she voted against lowering gas prices and healthcare costs, and opposed keeping guns out of our schools. She also needs to explain why she’s seeking a federal ban on abortions.
Voters deserve answers, and Steel needs to come clean on her extremist positions. If you’re with us, sign our petition demanding that Michelle Steel commit to a debate with Jay Chen before voters receive their ballots.

P.S. We’re hoping to gather the largest number of signatures possible so we can personally inform Steel how many voters are demanding she appear at a public forum. Please be sure to add your name today >>[link removed]
