Ann and I both know the value of a good education, and the struggles working families face as they raise their children, keep the lights on, fill up their cars, and find doctors who will accept their insurance. We've lived it.
And that's not the only thing we have in common: We are fighters. Capable women with common sense who got tired of seeing the same political games played, year in and year out, while Wisconsinites struggle.
The right to choose is being stripped away at all levels of government, all across the country. Women right here in Wisconsin are unable to make decisions about our bodies thanks to an antiquated law, and Bryan Steil cannot be trusted to advocate for them in D.C.
Folks all across the state are struggling to make ends meet, and while my work as the State Treasurer has put millions of dollars back into our communities, I can't do it alone. We need a coalition of progressive leaders fighting for the people at all levels of government.
