Here’s what we’re up against:
If MAGA Republicans win control of the House Majority, they’ll use their power to pass further restrictions on voting rights and they could even vote to overturn the results of the 2024 presidential election!
Trump and his allies are working hard to claw their way back into power. They’ve raised nearly $350,000,000 to spend on taking back the House Majority, and they’re already started using their war chest to attack vulnerable Democrats.
Republican leader Kevin McCarthy has been bragging that the GOP will win in a landslide this November, saying the GOP could flip as many as 70 Democratic seats, even though Republicans only need to flip five to take back the Majority.
That said, there is some good news: As of right now, Democrats are pulling ahead in the polls. But there is still plenty of time left until Election Day, so a lot can change between now and then.
