Emilia Sykes Releases Second TV Ad: “Flying”

AKRON, OH — Democratic congressional nominee Emilia Sykes released “Flying”, her second television ad of the general election. “Flying” sends a clear message to voters that no matter how much her opponents try to twist the truth and launch false attack ads against her, it won’t distract from Emilia’s record of raising wages and cutting taxes for Ohio’s hard working families and fighting to keep us safe.

"What Ohioans need now is a leader who is focused on serving our community, not spreading lies,” said Sykes. “I’m proud of the work I’ve done with both sides of the aisle to deliver real results for workers and families here in our community, helping to strengthen their safety and their financial security. When elected, voters can trust that I’ll continue to always continue to put our community first.”

In elections, you know the routine.

The other side will make up lies about me, and they'll put them on air. 

They're hoping you'll forget that I worked with both parties to raise pay, keep us safe and cut taxes.

And they definitely don't want you to know that I have a plan to lower costs and keep more money in your pocket. 

They'll twist everything to scare you. But the only thing that will stick is my landing.

The OH-13 congressional race is a highly competitive matchup between Sykes and radical far-right extremist Madison Gesiotto Gilbert, who recently doubled down on her anti-choice extremism and was caught violating ethics laws by failing to file her financial disclosures.
