This Friday, early voting starts in one of the most consequential elections of our lives.
Up and down the ballot, we are facing Republicans who want to ban abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest, are doubling down on Donald Trump’s Big Lie, and trying to make it easier for dangerous people to get guns.
My opponent is a hedge fund lawyer with no courtroom experience who has vowed to “go on offense” attacking reproductive freedom and said he would "take a sledgehammer" to the office, gutting our efforts to protect consumers from predatory opioid, tobacco, and drug companies.
So, here’s the bottom line: The work we do over the next 47 days will shape Minnesota for decades.
Midterm elections always come down to turnout. That’s why it’s so important for us to hit the ground running when early voting starts on Friday. The Minnesota DFL is setting up a dedicated effort to lead the charge, but they need our support to get their plans off the ground.
