John —
I wanted to touch base with you on some critical funding bills coming up soon in Congress. While the work of budget reconciliation is not glamorous, this is how we get to deliver results to the American people.
Right now, we are planning a continuing resolution (CR) to ensure the government has the necessary resources to operate through the end of the year. President Biden has already requested the funding needed and now it is up to Congress to approve or make revisions where needed.
While this work may not be the attention-grabbing thing that folks campaign on, this is what fighting for the American people looks like. House Democrats will fight to put you first every single day, no matter the topic of the legislation, even if it doesn’t get media attention.
Having your support at every turn fuels my passion to deliver results in Washington. That’s why I’m asking you to join me and House Democrats this week as we fight for this request – instantly add your name to show your support. [[link removed]]
