Dear John,
The Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters is in D.C. right now challenging the unlawful reinstatement of Twin Metals mineral leases. You probably saw that Twin Metals submitted their mine plan this week, and we need your help to make sure this project doesn't go any further. Last year, we filed a lawsuit alongside 9 businesses to challenge the reinstatement. Today, Alex Ward and his team of 8 lawyers at Morrison & Foerster will argue our case on behalf of the Campaign, the 9 businesses, and 4 other conservation groups who filed related cases.
We are leading the fight to protect the Boundary Waters and we need your support in 2020. Fighting for the Wilderness at this level is expensive, and so your financial support is crucial. Can we count on your help to continue the fight to protect the Boundary Waters in 2020? Please consider a rushed donation today.
We could lose the pristine Boundary Waters as we know it if this mine happens, but there is still time to stop it by rushing a donation, urging your friends to do the same, and visiting our action center.
