We all know what it feels like to have doctors who believe us. Providers who listen and care change the way we navigate healthcare. Recently, the Biden Administration reversed a Trump-era policy that limited protections for transgender people. We all deserve to receive medical care without fear, and by sharing our stories, we can help ensure this care and safety for our communities and ourselves.

We’ve launched our #ProtectTransHealth campaign to tell the Biden administration we support their efforts to end discrimination in medical settings and that there is more we can do now to ensure that when we experience discrimination, we know how to demand accountability. Nearly 1 in 3 transgender people have experienced discrimination from a doctor, and we need your help to change that stark reality.
With your continued help, we can create a future where being and staying healthy is a given for all of us. We all deserve to see our doctors without fear that our providers won’t follow the law and do what is right. No one should have to worry about discrimination while seeking care.
