Okay, here goes nothing…I know this is a fundraising gimmick, but hear me out.

We’re 10 days out from our FEC deadline. Will you chip in $10 – just $1 per day until the deadline – to help us hit our goal?

Here’s the deal, folks: 

• We’re facing our last full-quarter public reporting deadline on September 30
• We’re less than seven weeks out from Election Day and are trying to talk with as many voters as possible
• This public report will reveal if we have the resources to win

We’ve come so far. With what little time we have left, we need to continue building the momentum that will carry us all the way to Congress.

While this email is a bit cheesy, the consequences of this election couldn’t be more serious. Western North Carolina’s working families are depending on us to elect a leader who will deliver economic relief, secure our democracy, and fight for equality for all.

In just 10 days, we have to prove that we’re running to win. Can I count on you to chip in $10 ahead of this make or break deadline?
