This summer, PublicSource higher education reporter Emma Folts broke a story on a draft policy at Carnegie Mellon University that would have allowed the use of facial recognition technology on campus. ([link removed]) After Emma's reporting and the resulting public feedback, CMU dropped its draft policy.

Meanwhile, local government reporter Charlie Wolfson investigated how Pittsburgh's police department and school district have failed for more than a decade to agree on a cooperative agreement ([link removed]) that is required by state law.

Join our reporters tonight at 7 pm to learn how these stories came together, the reaction they provoked, the lingering questions and what's next. Register for the event here ([link removed]) .
