Friend,

I have bad news.

Maxwell Frost, one of the first members of Generation Z to run for Congress, just won his Democratic primary. He’s also a radical socialist

This is a perfect example of why we must reach Gen Z high school students with the ideas of liberty.

If we don’t, the ideas they learn in high school – socialism, Marxism, and communism - will stay with them throughout their lives. And if they push for collectivist economic policies in the future, it could collapse the economy and destroy our liberty.

Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Zilvinas Silenas, President of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE).

Our educational programs like FEE in the Classroom teach high school students about the principles of liberty, free-market economics, personal responsibility, and limited government.

Our speakers — acclaimed college professors and successful entrepreneurs — directly engage high school students through our educational workshops.

In a single day, 75–300 high school students, on average, engage with FEE’s faculty of acclaimed instructors through compelling lectures, exciting economic experiments, engaging group discussions, and Q&As.

With today’s economic and political state, and openly socialist politicians seeking and winning office, it is starting to seem like a soft communist revolution is taking place in America.

I grew up in Soviet-controlled Lithuania, and I’m terrified of the rise of socialism I see in America.

Socialism is a multi-faceted issue. It’s easy to explain the theory, but the brutal day-to-day consequences that millions of people have suffered through are hard to understand if you haven’t experienced them first-hand.

This is just one reason I am so passionate about teaching high school students how liberty and free-market economics are vital to the health of America.

We need to reach them before they grow up to become radical socialists.
