Hey John, I'll get right to the point.

We have ground to make up if we're going to make our critical $75,000 end-of-year fundraising goal. This is our last Federal Election Commission (FEC) deadline of 2019, so let me take a moment to let you know why it's important that we hit this goal.

The road to taking back the Senate runs straight through Iowa. If we want to stop Mitch McConnell's attacks on affordable health care, Social Security, and women's reproductive rights then we need to flip this seat.

But if we don't hit our end-of-year goal, we won't have the resources to take on McConnell and his deep-pocketed friends who are willing to spend whatever it takes to win. Will you pitch in $5 right now to help us reach this crucial goal?

John -- McConnell is begging donors to help my Republican opponent AND his super PAC just launched new ads because he knows the fate of the Senate majority rests in Iowa. With a brand new poll showing this race between me and my Republican opponent is a single digit race, you can bet he's scared of the strength of this grassroots campaign.

That's why we need to make sure we're doing everything we can to fight back against McConnell's attacks -- and that starts with hitting our final FEC deadline of the year. Are you with me?

Pitch in before our end-of-year deadline to make sure we have the resources to take on McConnell so we can flip this seat and the Senate.
