John - this is madness.

Moments after House Democrats voted to impeach President Donald
J. Trump on a strict party-line basis, Speaker Nancy Pelosi
threatened to hold delivering the Articles of Impeachment to the
Senate.

Why? She is using the delay as a bargaining chip to make demands
about how a trial in the Senate is conducted. It's her way or
the highway.

Not allowing the Senate to act on approved Articles of
Impeachment amounts to Constitutional extortion and creates chaos
for the presidency.

It also sets in motion a tremendous threat to our Constitutional
system of checks and balances. John, this is a dangerous
precedent for all future presidents, and we must not let it
stand.
