Hi John! It’s been a minute, so I wanted to send you an update from the campaign trail.
Ever since Wes and I won the Maryland Democratic primary, we’ve been traveling across the state to meet people where they’re at and build the support we need for our campaign for governor and lieutenant governor.
Here are some recent highlights from the road:
On Monday, Wes and I had a ball at the Maryland Democrats’ BBQ alongside our fellow Democratic candidates Brooke Lierman for Comptroller and Anthony Brown for Attorney General. We are on a mission: leave no one behind. And that mission involves all of us.
Last week, I tried my hand at DJ-ing at the Anne Arundel West County Democrats Fish Fry. I’m a lieutenant governor candidate, engineer, wife, mother, and now, DJ!
As our kids went back to school across the state, I knocked doors with friends from Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) in Howard County. Our educators are the backbone of our communities, and our ticket will always fight for them.
On Labor Day, we marched side-by-side with fellow Democrats including Brooke Lierman, Senator Chris Van Hollen, and Congressman Jamie Raskin, as well as volunteers and members of Team Moore-Miller in Gaithersburg.
And late last month, Wes and I were honored to receive the endorsement of SEIU Maryland. In Annapolis, we will partner with labor, protect collective bargaining, and lift up workers across the state to create pathways to work, wages, and wealth for all.
These are just a few of the MANY highlights along our travels, and we’ve got plenty more ground to cover before voters head to the polls on November 8.
There’s only 49 days left until Election Day, and Wes and I can use your support to help keep us moving forward!
Can you chip in $10 or more today to keep our campaign on the move and help us win the general election just seven weeks from now?
