Wrapping Up 2019 and Looking to the New Year

With both chambers of Congress adjourned until the beginning of January, we are reflecting on the past year. To round out the legislative session, we saw two recent accomplishments: the passage of the USMCA trade deal and the repeal of the “Cadillac tax,” made possible by the House Problem Solvers Caucus’ 290 co-sponsorship rule. We are proud of the leaders who continue to work together and GET IN THE ROOM! to make strides for hard working citizens.

Thanks to the passage of the 290 co-sponsorship rule the House was able to vote on the repeal of the Cadillac tax.

Later in the week, the House passed the USMCA trade agreement with bipartisan support.
