Got some pretty exciting news for ya, folks:

Just this week, the very first bill I ever introduced finally passed in the Senate.

Way back in 2007, I introduced the Little Shell Tribal Recognition bill to federally recognize the Little Shell Tribe in Montana.

Because of your support, we won this 12-year-long battle and finally fulfilled our promise to this community back home.

I couldn’t be prouder of this grassroots team.

We are changing the way Washington works, and we’re doing it together -- by getting dark money and special interests out of our politics for good. And by making damn sure everyone from the dirt farmer to the single mom working two jobs are heard and taken care of.

If we’re going to keep making sure Washington is doing right by regular folks like you and me, then we need to meet our grassroots fundraising goal for the year. Chip in a few dollars today toward our final FEC deadline to keep our work going strong >>

As you know, I didn’t run for office for money or power. I ran because I didn’t see anyone in our government sticking up for all of us, not just the wealthy few.

Thanks for allowing me the chance to do so,

— Jon
