============================

John — Today is National Voter Registration Day, a day of action to ensure everyone who is eligible has the opportunity to vote.

Each state makes its own voting and election rules, including how to update your voter registration. Every election, millions of Americans are unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline or don’t know how to register. Others are unable to vote because they don’t realize they need to update their voter registration after moving. And even more are purged from voter rolls for various reasons.

It’s important that you visit our Voter Hub NOW [[link removed]] to check your status to ensure that you can vote in November’s general election.

If you find that your voter registration is in order, great! If not, you can start the registration process to vote in our Voter Hub [[link removed]] . Voter registration takes an average of two minutes or less to complete so jump on this today, before your state registration deadline.

While you're at it, remind your friends and family to check their registration status [[link removed]] . Then, if they need it, help them register to vote. And, if you know any young people who’ve recently turned 18 (or will in the next few weeks), share our Voting Hub resources with them and remind them to register to vote [[link removed]] !

Voting is one of our most important rights as citizens of this country and is a first step towards determining the laws and policies that will affect domestic workers, caregivers, women of color, and immigrants for years to come. But you can’t vote if you aren’t registered. Check your voter registration status today [[link removed]] .

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
