It's National Voter Registration Day! Today we celebrate what it means to be a democracy, which is to make all of our voices heard by showing up at the polls.
There are also just three weeks remaining until October 11, which is the voter registration deadline in several critical battleground states across the country. That’s why our team at Voto Latino is doing a massive push to get as many voters registered as possible in these final few weeks.
When we make our voices heard by ensuring young Latinos are registered and mobilized to vote, it makes a huge difference. In 2020, the number of new voters we registered exceeded the Democratic margin of victory in swing states like Arizona and Georgia, helping us flip the White House and Senate blue.
With enough resources, we know we can replicate that success ahead of the November elections – but we depend on grassroots supporters like you to power our work. With tens of thousands of voters to reach, and only a few weeks left to make it happen, we need all the help we can get.
