Republican megadonors are infultrating the democratic party.     Friend, Last month, AIPAC tweeted an alarming statistic about their win rate in this year’s primaries. 97% of AIPAC-backed candidates have won their election and helped defeat 12 Pro-Palestinian candidates- who would’ve been staunch defenders of the Palestinian people in Congress. We’ve emailed you about staunch defenders of Palestine facing harsher primary elections or even losing their primaries due to the backing of groups like AIPAC. We’ve also told you about how AIPAC isn’t running ads about Israel and Palestine, rather, they run ads that falsely smear their opponents about a plethora of other issues. Rather their ads try to oust the most progressive member of Congress, probably because the biggest donors to AIPAC’s Super Pac United Democracy Project aren't Democrats. Not only has AIPAC backed 37 Republicans who voted against certifying President Joe Biden’s election victory, but the biggest donors to UDP are Republican megadonors. The long list of UDP backers includes- Home Depot co-founder Bernard Marcus and hedge fund manager Paul Singer. Both: have contributed $1 million to the UDP super PAC, are Trump backers, and Republican Party megadonors. They regularly contribute millions of dollars to Republican candidates in each election cycle and have now decided to attack Progressive Democrats through UDP. It’s no surprise that Trump’s millionaire donors would want the least progressive dem to win the primary. It’s also not surprising that Republican Party megadonors are doing everything in their power to defeat Pro-Palestinian candidates who are often times women of color. AIPAC is doing the bidding of election deniers. Can we count on you to pitch in whatever you can to help us fight for a Pro-Palestine Progressive movement in Congress?
