Hi John, I’m Adrian Fontes and I’m running against MAGA-backed Mark Finchem for Arizona Secretary of State. In a minute, I’m going to ask you for a small donation, but first let me explain why this race is so important. 

Our democracy is under attack from Donald Trump and his followers who continue to spread lies about the 2020 election. 

As Maricopa County Recorder, I was on the frontlines of this assault. Day after day, I stood up to conspiracy theories and lies parroted by Trump’s MAGA Republicans. 

My opponent, Mark Finchem, was the source of these lies. 

Not only has Finchem been deceiving the public, but he’s charted a dangerous path that has further put our democracy at risk. 

He was at the Capitol on Jan. 6 in an attempt to overturn the election, AND he’s co-sponsored legislation in the state senate that would give the Arizona legislature the authority to overturn a democratic election. 

While Finchem is laser-focused on destroying our democracy, I’m running this campaign to defend it. But if we’re going to be successful in November, we’ll need the necessary financial resources to win.
