National Center for Transgender Equality Action Fund

John,

The NCTE Action Fund has been calling for the Democratic debate
moderators to ask a question about transgender rights, and last night,
they did just that. It was the first time this has ever happened on
the debate stage.

Trans people have experienced a constant onslaught of hostile actions
and dangerous erosions of our rights under the Trump administration.
It's time for us to elect a president who cares about trans
people, our families, and our allies. Through the "Transform the
White House" Project, we have been asking the candidates where
they stand on issues important to the transgender community. We are
glad that both Senator Sanders and Senator Warren had the opportunity
to answer questions during last night's debate as to what they
would do to stop violence against trans people.

As we move towards a new year, please consider making your gift to the
NCTE Action Fund so that we can prepare for the fight ahead in 2020.
