You may not be aware, but Democratic Senator Maggie Hassan won her last Senate race in New Hampshire by just 1,017 votes. That’s all. We’ve always known that keeping this seat in a tough battleground state would be tough, but I’m coming to you now because the recent Republican primary has really shaken up the race.
Just a week ago, we learned that Maggie Hassan will be facing Don Bolduc, an anti-choice extremist who just can’t seem to stop spreading the Big Lie. Bolduc supported legislation that would jail doctors for performing medically-necessary abortions. He said he would work to overturn future election results in 2024 if President Biden wins.
I don’t think I need to say more than that to convey that Maggie *needs* to beat him. And she’ll need all hands on deck to do that, so I've got to ask if you can pitch in a few bucks to help her.
While Bolduc’s positions are wildly out of step with New Hampshire’s overwhelmingly pro-choice population, he’s got the backing of the Republican dark money machine, meaning that Maggie is in real jeopardy. The national GOP is pouring over $55 million into buying this seat out from under us because they know that if they flip this seat, they are virtually guaranteed the Senate majority.
So again, please chip in to help Maggie fight back right now because we just can’t lose our majority to the Republicans. Instead of lowering costs, supporting small businesses, or making the economy work – you know, things that actually help people – Republicans will use their majority to shill for Big Pharma, roll back climate progress, and ban abortion nationwide– and Don Bolduc will be right there, rubber stamping the GOP’s radical agenda every single step of the way.
Democrats’ ability to save reproductive and voting rights depends on beating Bolduc and reelecting Maggie Hassan. So please, give $5 or $15 – whatever makes sense for you right now – and join me in standing with her today.
The simple fact is that if we want to see ANY progress on climate, voting rights, reproductive health care, and so much more, then we need to win in New Hampshire. So if you’ve been looking for a way to help make that progress possible, this is it.
