Dear John,

After two years of virtual events, we are beyond excited to see you in person on Sunday, October 30th for this year's MPAC Convention. 2022 has been a busy year for our organization, and this event will be an opportunity for our community to come together in reflection, solidarity, and celebration.

From our policy team in Washington, D.C. to our Hollywood Bureau in Los Angeles, we have accomplished so much. And we cannot wait to share our progress with you.

This year's theme, "Our Sacred Honor: Fulfilling the Promise of America", comes at a crucial moment in the history of our country. The United States is more polarized than ever before, and increasing xenophobia, Islamophobia, and bigotry plagues our communities.

Every generation in the 2+ centuries since the formation of the our republic has grappled with issues of equality, freedom, and justice. Every generation has had to fight an uphill battle for the rights guaranteed to them in the Constitution. And every generation has made monumental strides in pursuit of a more perfect union, doing so in the face of bigotry, racism, and xenophobia. Now, it's up to us.

Join us for the 2022 MPAC Convention as we work to ensure that American Muslims are being heard and seen, and our community is doing its part in the ongoing struggle for equity, freedom, and democracy.
