As you may know, it is the responsibility of Members of Congress to nominate exceptional candidates for these institutions, and I take this solemn responsibility very seriously. One of our premier events, the 12th Congressional District Military Service Academy Day is this Saturday, September 24th at 9:45 AM at the Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences, 1411 Hawthorne Ln, Charlotte, NC 28205.

This in-person event is geared toward students who may be interested in applying to one of our country's Military Service Academies. Already, participants from across Mecklenburg County have registered to attend. Registration is closing soon, and this may be the last email you receive about the program. Please register today.

Students, parents, and teachers are encouraged to attend to receive a comprehensive overview of the US Service Academies, and learn how high school students can be nominated to attend the academies on a full scholarship. The program will feature representatives from Military Service Academy admissions staff, and I will be joining as well.
