As we head into the weekend and many of us plan for holiday travel, I wanted to send a quick note about a way to let IJ keep you company while you’re on the go.
I recently sat down with Melanie Hildreth here at IJ to talk about my experience as a longtime IJ litigator and to tell the stories of some of the key cases and clients that helped make IJ what we are today. From a pivotal free speech case in the early days of the internet, to a candlelight vigil at the start of an exhausting eminent domain fight in Mississippi, to the launch of our civil forfeiture initiative, these moments had a profound influence on me and on the mission of IJ. You can hear about them here <[link removed]>, or wherever you get your podcasts by searching for “Deep Dive with the Institute for Justice” and going to the “Stories from the Front Lines” episode.
If you find the content interesting, you may enjoy some of the other discussions of different IJ projects and the legal framework in which we’re operating. IJ’s Deep Dive podcast features conversations with our litigation director, senior attorneys, activism staff, and others. You can access the full list of episodes at ij.org/deep-dive <[link removed]> or watch them on YouTube <[link removed]>.
Again, I hope you enjoy a deeper look into a few aspects of what makes IJ special, and I wish you the best for the season from all of us here.
