Dear Friend,
Hurricane Fiona has caused catastrophic damage in Puerto Rico, destroying homes and leaving families trapped by extreme flooding. The resulting blackout across the entire island means families have fled to shelters in search of safety. The Dominican Republic has also suffered widespread damage, and the storm is still strengthening as it moves north.
Project HOPE has already mobilized our emergency response team to identify the most urgent humanitarian needs and is deploying to provide aid to those most impacted across the region.
We’ve been at work in the Dominican Republic saving lives since 1996, with a focus on helping women, newborns and children get the health care they need. Project HOPE was one of the first organizations to arrive in Puerto Rico in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria in 2017 delivering over $2 million in lifesaving medical supplies, including 1,500 vials of insulin for the island’s diabetic population.
Rush your donation today to help survivors of Hurricane Fiona and people facing health crises around the world. Your support ensures that lifesaving supplies, medications and medical volunteers reach communities in need as quickly as possible.
