Defend and Protect: Punta Conejo

This year, we launched the #SalvemosPuntaConejo campaign to defend and protect the iconic point break. And we're just getting started.

Punta Conejo, a beautiful and unique surf ecosystem along the coastline of Southern Oaxaca, faces destruction by the construction of a new industrial port project. We've taken crucial first steps to unite local partners, hear concerns and align with community members to oppose the development proposal.

As we enter the new year, we remain dedicated to defending this special place. We will continue our efforts to raise and sustain a robust campaign to ensure that the wave, surrounding environment, and human livelihoods dependent on this iconic place are protected.
