Friday is a special day when we increase our du'a, join in
congregation with our fellow brothers and sisters, and feel especially
close to Allah.

If you follow us on social media, you'll see that we at MLFA also take
time to reflect on the tremendous responsibility, and in turn, reward,
of upholding justice by sharing Quranic, Prophetic, and Islamic
inspiration behind this noble concept. This helps fuel our passion and
keep us firm in our mission to fund the work that makes justice
possible.

For many, this Friday also leads into a holiday season when families get
together and enjoy each other's company. We share a message from our
Executive Director Khalil Meek to keep the work of MLFA in perspective -
as there are many who fight injustice daily and dream to be with their
families as well.
