Join me in congratulating Gamaliel’s affiliate in the Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas metropolitan region—The Metro Organization for Racial and Economic Equity or MORE 2 —on the successful indictment of a detective from the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department. While we know the indictment does not mean an automatic conviction, it does demonstrate that community organizing has the power to expose corrupt systems and the individuals who operate within those systems.
