When I was up on the debate stage, I was thinking about how far we've come together this past year — and feeling hopeful about what we can accomplish together next year and in 2021. But we need your help to get there.
In just over a week, we'll wrap the last FEC fundraising report that will become public before voting begins. A lot of people are waiting to see our final FEC report of the year so that they can characterize the strength that this grassroots movement is bringing into 2020 — but it's not just about that.
What you give today is also going to help this movement spend the next days, weeks, and months the same way we always have — talking with people about the problems we face and our plans to fix them. That's what your donation will power: the growth of this grassroots movement.
Some campaigns could hit their end-of-quarter goal with a couple of fancy closed-door fundraisers where you have to write a huge check just get in the door.
Others will just write themselves a huge check to buy their way into this race.
The way we see it, there's two ways to do this. There's the easy way — selling access to my time — and then there's the right way: from the grassroots up.
