*Celebrate National Drive Electric Week?by attending an electric vehicle Ride and Drive event*

EGLE staffers Robert Jackson and Debbie Swartz at an electric vehicle ride and drive in Lansing in April 2019.

Celebrate National Drive Electric Week [ [link removed] ] (NDEW) by attending an electric vehicle Ride and Drive event. Events will be hosted across Michigan throughout the week of September 23?? October 2,?in an effort to raise awareness of the multitude of benefits of electric and?plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, motorcycles, and more.

Electric vehicles (EV) of different makes and models will be showcased and available to test drive. EV owners will be on-site to answer questions and share insight on everything you want to know about the EV experience.

The State of Michigan partnered with Michigan Clean Cities Coalition, Michigan Electric Auto Association Chapters, and Meijer to coordinate two EV Ride and Drive events. These events present a unique opportunity to get the run-down on public charging, since both locations have DC fast chargers, that are funded, in part, through Charge Up Michigan [ [link removed] ].
