Next Tuesday, we’re hosting a panel event with the Post Office at the Labour Party conference in Liverpool. We’ll be joined by a stellar lineup of speakers including Dame Angela Eagle MP, Shadow City Minister Tulip Siddiq MP, Banking Director at the Post Office Martin Kearsley, and the Guardian’s Kayleena Makortoff who is chairing the debate.

The event’s called The Future of Money and Banking, and we’re going to discuss the nature of modern money and how we can take power away from the big banks. [1] With the rise of crypto currencies and potential for a digital pound that could be used for public good, it’s a ripe time to have this discussion.

The event’s happening in person, but we want everyone to get a chance to ask the panel questions - not just the politicians, policy writers or party members, who make up the majority of people at party conferences.

Labour party conference is a major political event with big policy announcements, debates and workshops, but the main conference is members only. So we want as many supporters as possible involved in our event - so we’re streaming it live and putting your questions to the panel.
