Every year, thousands of women across the country are diagnosed with heart disease. For many of these women, the diagnosis comes as a shock. Women who are diagnosed with heart disease often face a long and difficult road to recovery. To help these women navigate their journey, WomenHeart created the WomenHeart Champions program. The program provides training and support for women who want to become leaders in their community.

This year, a new class of WomenHeart Champions will convene at the Mayo Clinic for training. These women will share their heart stories, hear from top cardiologists in the country, and become informed about WomenHeart's services. They will go home prepared to start support groups, provide health education, and advocate for women's heart health.
