The Texas Historical Commission (THC) continues to solicit feedback from Texans through a series of online public feedback sessions to discuss draft planning themes, goals, and objectives for the 2022-2032 Texas Statewide Historic Preservation Plan?Our Resilient Heritage.
For Texans, places of historic and cultural value provide connections to the many stories and narratives of the people and events that shaped the state and its communities. Our Resilient Heritage?2022-2032 Texas Statewide Historic Preservation Plan provides a framework for state and local level historic preservation efforts. The Statewide Historic Preservation Plan also incorporates disaster resiliency content to help Texans improve the way we protect and preserve historic resources from natural disasters through disaster preparedness and adaptation strategies.
