Good Morning Fellow Climate Activists,
In just 3 days, on Friday, September 23rd, join us for the Chicago edition of the Global Climate Strike! Join a coalition of 350 groups, climate, environmental, youth, social and environmental justice organizations will gather to tell the Federal Reserve and Chase to halt the financing, extraction and burning of fossil fuels. We will also stop by the Kluzynski building and tell Senator Durbin to Say NO to Manchin's Dirty Side Deal to fast track a natural gas pipeline!

This event will be in full collaboration with youth groups Fridays for Future and the Chicago Climate Youth Coalition.
We will meet at Pritzker Park at 310 S. State Street. Arrive at 10:30 AM prior to the march kick-off.
We will march and stop at all 3 of these buildings downtown, perform a little Civil Discobedience to Staying Alive, have a die-in and dance some more to I Will Survive, to raise awareness to the public and call on the following institutions and politicians to stop supporting fossil fuel infrastructure.

- Senator Durbin - Stop the bill to fast track fossil fuel infrastructure in frontline communities!

We still need roles to be filled during the event. We need people who feel comfortable speaking or being a chant leader, safety marshalls, people to hold banners, people to dance in the Civil Discobedience to Staying Alive and I Will Survive, a spokesperson to potentially talk with media, photographers, people to do press outreach, people to live tweet and someone to Livestream the event.
