I'm going to be blunt, John: Republicans have the upper hand in this race.

Let me explain why:

1. As we enter the final weeks of the election, extreme GOP groups are outspending on the airwaves

2. Democrats are facing a tough political environment.

3. Mitch McConnell only needs to flip one seat to take back the Senate majority.

But before you give up on protecting our Democratic Senate majority and delete this email, let me explain why I know we can keep this seat and the Senate blue this November:

1. My team started earlier than ever to get staff on the ground, reach every Granite Stater, and build a winning campaign.

2. I'm no stranger to tough fights. In 2016, I unseated a Republican incumbent by 1,017 votes – so I know what it takes to win.
