Daily Religion Headlines
NEW FROM PEW RESEARCH CENTER
Catholic leaders continue to debate whether the church should allow married priests. But what do ordinary Catholics think? Pew Research Center surveys over the years show that in some countries, including in Brazil and the U.S., majorities of Catholics are in favor of allowing priests to marry, according to a new Fact Tank post ([link removed] ) , which also looks at Catholics’ views toward the ordination of women.

The daily religion newsletter will be taking a break for the Christmas holiday. Production will resume on Monday, Dec. 30.
