As we approach Election Day and so much that we hold dear is under attack, it is more important than ever that we show up and mobilize for our candidates, campaigns, organizations and issues. Below is a list of upcoming events that I believe should be on your radar:?



- A Reception Supporting Hon. Lindsey Horvath for LA County Supervisor - This Tuesday (Today), September 20th @ 6pm





I am proud to support?Lindsey Horvath, a member of the West Hollywood City Council, in her bid to replace the retiring Sheila Kuehl as LA County Supervisor. This is a very important race and I hope to see you there.





- Fund Her Fall Kickoff - September 23rd @ 5:30pm







This?event will kick off the fall program, the biggest program in Fund Her history, with 50+ phenomenal pro-choice women and the chance to flip three legislatures?blue, elect three women governors, and reach 40% women legislators in California! Fund Her is a PAC working to help elect progressive women to lead our states.?I am proud to be a chair of this event and to be a part of a historic day centered around elevating the voices of strong, progressive women.?Join me in supporting the phenomenal women that Fund Her has supported, who are working to bring about reproductive justice, women's equality, climate responsibility and social justice.







- Encourage Governor Gavin Newsom to sign the Ballot DISCLOSE Act (AB 1416) ASAP



The?Ballot DISCLOSE Actwill ensure?that ALL?voters know?who is for and against ballot measures?by putting right on the ballot a short and easy-to-read list of the supporters and opponents of each ballot measure.?Just as importantly, it will stop wealthy interests from misleading voters about who?really?is for and against ballot measures. If the Governor signs AB 1416 into law, it will serve as a model for all the other states that have ballot measures.?Governor Newsom has until 9/30 to sign or veto. PLEASE TAKE ACTION ASAP. Governor Newsom will likely take action before 9/30.
