My family has called this part of Oregon home for more than twenty years. I've been proud to serve our community as a school funding advocate, a small businessperson, a state legislator, and now, as Oregon's Labor Commissioner.
I'm passionate about the work that I've done and what we've accomplished together: A higher minimum wage. Paid sick days for all workers. The strongest reproductive health care protections in the country. Expanding job training opportunities so Oregonians can get good careers and support their families.
So when I see my MAGA Republican opponent, Alek Skarlatos, standing arm and arm with House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, I'm not mad as a candidate. I'm mad as an Oregonian.
Alek and Kevin's agenda is wrong for Oregon, and it's wrong for our country.

Alek's MAGA record is crystal clear, and it's no wonder Kevin McCarthy is spending time promoting Alek's candidacy here in Oregon:
Alek won't say who won the 2020 election. He cheered on the January 6 insurrectionists and questioned the loyalty of the national guardsmen protecting the Capitol.
Alek opposes the existence of a minimum wage. He supported overturning Roe v Wade and would be a vote in Congress for a national abortion ban.
He'll be a reliable foot soldier for Donald Trump and Kevin McCarthy's extremist, divisive, MAGA agenda.
