Dear John,

In this time of reflection and coming together with friends and family, we at ALIGN would like to wish you a happy holiday and start to the new year. This year has been filled with important moments for us as an organization, from waging successful campaigns against corporate overreach to winning the enactment of major climate action policies in the city and the state. For us, 2019 will be remembered as a year when ALIGN has had the fortune to work closely with many friends and allies from organized labor to environmental justice activists to youth voices. All that we have accomplished this year has only been possible with all of you, and we’re truly thankful.

As we look toward the new year, we know that 2020 will bring new challenges for shaping a city and state that are grounded in economic and racial justice, and in our aspirations for our children to have a sustainable future – one filled with dignity, security, and promise. ALIGN is ready to meet these challenges head on with our partners to ensure that the work we are doing day in and day out to build a strong, diverse movement will result in the victories we need to get there.
