In a moment, I am going to share with you my plan for the last 50 days of the election, but first I have to ask: The election is approaching quickly, and my team is hoping to raise $5,000 today to help power us through the final days ahead. Can you chip in just $5 before the day ends?
When I woke up this morning, I was filled with gratitude. Fighting for our common good alongside all of you is an honor, and I know we are ready to take that fight to Congress.
Our campaign resonates with western Pennsylvania families because we’re fighting for the things that matter most – bringing our supply chains back home to make stuff right here, stronger protection for workers and unions, taking on unchecked corporate power, making billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share, protecting our right to vote, ensuring that women and girls across the country have access to legal abortion, and so much more.
I know we still have challenges ahead. The corporate executive I’m running against has already spent $1 million trying to defeat me, and the dark-money groups and National Republicans propping him up are spending millions more. To fight back, it’s going to take all of us.
So here’s the plan, John: We need to take the fight for our common good to the voters, which means keeping our TV and digital ads running up until the election, knocking on every single door we can in Beaver and Allegheny Counties, and talking to as many voters as possible about the issues that matter most.
But doing all of that is expensive, John, and unlike my opponent, I’m not backed by mega-rich corporate PACs. This is a grassroots-funded campaign, so will you chip in just $5 today to help us reach our $5,000 goal and ensure our campaign has the resources we need to win in November?
