Today is a big day, John. There are now just 50 days until Election Day, so I wanted to take a moment to remind you all of the task before us here in ME-02.

But first, since we’re entering the final stretch, I’m about to sign off on some budgets that will shape what the next 50 days of this campaign will look like. We’ll only be able to fully fund these plans – and reach all the Maine voters we need to communicate with to win – with your support.

That’s why my team set a one-day goal, and why it’s so important we reach it.

You know I don’t like asking, but there’s no time to waste and in a race this close, we can’t leave anything up to chance. If you’re able, I hope you’ll help us reach our $5,000 goal and win in exactly 50 days.

Our team has worked hard to be as transparent with our supporters as possible, especially when it comes to our priorities and our funding. We’re looking at the budget every day and only asking for your help when we need it – and now is one of those times.

Kevin McCarthy, our opponent, and their dark money backers are trying to replace me with more of the same old broken politics. They’re doing everything they can to take back this seat – spending $4 million so far, and we know an additional $7 million is coming in these final 50 days.

I’m going to give it everything I’ve got to make sure that doesn’t happen, but I’m going to need your help in the final 50 days until Election Day to get our message out to Maine voters.
