Today is a BIG day, John – we’re just 50 days out from what MSNBC’s Joy Reid said “may be the most important elections of our lifetime.”

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you’ve given us up to this point. Because of you, the maps are fairer, and voters are recognizing the existential threat MAGA Republicans pose to our democracy.

But there’s still so much left to do before Election Day. So I’m asking if you can pitch in $5 (or more if you’re able) to help us carry out ALL of our democracy-saving work.

I understand that you have many causes competing for your attention – and your donations. So let me tell you about some of the things your gift will fund:

    → Support for 299 *NEW* Democracy Defender candidates, who are running for every office from governor down to state representative across 17 states.

    → Programs and staff working to protect and expand the freedom to vote across the country.

    → Defense of election administration from MAGA election deniers who are trying to take it over.

    → Voter education and mobilization – a critical piece of our work when the stakes are so high!
