Here’s what happened earlier this year—and it could happen again this month:

➢ FIRST, we missed five fundraising goals in a row over the spring and summer, and our slow fundraising pace was threatening to SINK our chances of holding the House Majority. We can’t keep ads on the air—or fund any of our other priorities—if we miss monthly fundraising goals.

➢ THEN, something incredible happened: Grassroots donors showed up in a huge way, and we crushed our August fundraising goal. That helped close the gap, but not enough to make up for five months of missed goals beforehand.
